Tungsten carbide throats and nozzles are critical components in hydraulic jet pumps, one of the most cost-effective methods to enhance production, extend the lifespan of mature oil fields, and even revive abandoned wells—making it one of the most economical ways to increase output, prolong the life of a mature oil field, and even recover an abandoned one.

TANTAL® offers a complete range of throat and nozzle sizes. Capable of producing micro-holes as small as 0.05 mm in diameter and achieving surface finishes up to Ra 0.1, TANTAL® is able to manufacture high-precision throats and nozzles.

The tungsten carbide ball and seat are essential components of the downhole pump assembly. Their performance directly affects the service life of sucker rod pumps. TANTAL® supplies a complete range of ball and seat valves for underground sucker rod pumps, with annual production capacity. We offer materials such as tungsten carbide, titanium carbide, stainless steel, and cermet. Each ball and seat set is fully interchangeable and vacuum-tested to ensure a perfect seal.
